Firma Electrónica by KRUGER
For the year 2014 the use of electronic documents (vouchers, invoices, notices,etc) will be obligatory for all taxpayers under legal and regulatory requirements enforceable by the SRI. In essence, electronic vouchers will be the same that the physical documents, but now in digital form, used for e-sign. They will have the same validity with the advantage that they will reduce storage and shipping costs, deteriorations, the risk of misplacements and will show technological development in businesses.
Firma Electónica (e-sign) is a KRUGER suite based on electronic signature in the modality PAAS-SAAS (platform or software as a service).
The first product of this suite is FACURA ELECTRONICA (e-invoice) which is a platform of electronic documents that meets with legal and regulatory requirements enforceable by the SRI in the Ecuador for medium and large companies of high transactional volume.

Jarimba was released as open source software within the framework of the VII Latin American Open Source Software Conference held in Foz do Iguacu – Brazil (November 2010), and locally during the First National Open Source Software Encounter in Latacunga, Ecuador on the same date.
